Shipping & Returns

Shipping During the Holiday Season

For guaranteed delivery before Christmas within Germany, please place your order by December 19th, 12pm CET

Most orders will be shipped the same day and we expect them to arrive by Monday, December 23rd

To make this possible we are reducing our processing time to about 1 day from 3-4 working days.

For guaranteed delivery within the EU, please place your order by December 16th.

For destinations outside the EU, please contact us directly to confirm shipping timelines and options.

While we work closely with DHL to ensure timely delivery, we cannot a 100% guarantee delivery dates due to potential delays in their network during the busy holiday season. We recommend ordering as early as possible to avoid any issues.

Extended Returns Policy:

Orders placed between the 13th and 25th December can be returned until 8th January. This applies to full-priced items only; sale items are non-returnable.


Shipping Zones
We offer worldwide shipping (with a few exceptions).

International Shipping
Please note that customs duties and taxes may apply to your order depending on the item type, value, and your country’s regulations. Any fees incurred are your responsibility as the customer. Once your order has shipped and arrives at customs, we’re unable to take further action on our end.

If you choose not to pay the customs fees in your country, we cannot guarantee what will happen to your package. As such, we regret to inform you that we cannot provide refunds for orders refused due to unpaid customs charges.


Shipping Options, Processing Times, and Delivery

We currently offer standard shipping only.

Our average processing time is 3–5 days, and delivery within Germany via DHL typically takes 1–2 days. We aim to ship orders as quickly as possible or immediately after production (for pre-orders or made-to-order items). However, as a small brand, we sometimes need a little extra time. If you need your order by a specific date, please contact us via chat, email, or social media.

Delivery times vary based on destination. For more details, reach out, and we’ll gladly assist.


Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on your location and will be displayed at checkout.


Restrictions
Certain locations are currently outside our delivery zones. If your destination isn’t listed, email us—we’ll do our best to find a solution!
Additionally, we’re unable to deliver to P.O. boxes at this time.


Damages & Issues
Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if any items are damaged or incorrect. We’ll work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.


Exchanges
If you’d like to exchange an item, email us at info@areweoblivious.com with your request. We’ll provide return instructions and a shipping label for exchanges within Germany (free of charge). Once we’ve received your package, we’ll send out your replacement.
If additional payment or a partial refund is needed for the exchange, we’ll notify you by email before shipping your new item.


Returns
You can return items within 14 days of receipt. Please email us at info@areweoblivious.com or submit a return request [here].

Items must be in their original condition to be eligible for a refund. This means all tags must remain intact, and the items must be unworn and unwashed (this also applies to exchanges).

Currently, return shipping costs are not included, and customers are responsible for covering them. You can either ship the package back to us yourself or request a return label (the cost will be deducted from your refund).

We’d love to change this in the future, but as a small business, we hope you understand that we’re unable to cover these costs at the moment.


Exclusions

  • Pre-order and upcycled products that are customized (e.g., color changes, prints, blazer modifications)
  • One-of-a-kind items

These are not eligible for returns or exchanges.


Bundles
If you’ve purchased a bundle and wish to exchange or return part of it, please contact us. For partial returns, we’ll adjust the refund accordingly. This means the retained item will be charged at full price, and only the difference will be refunded.


Refunds
Refunds are issued back to your original payment method after we’ve received and inspected your return. Please allow 7–10 business days for your payment provider to process the refund.
